Absolute Poker Review
Absolute Poker has been around for a while now and is a good solid poker room. They run their own proprietary software in a similar way to Full Tilt and therefore have complete control of it's functionality. It is a medium sized poker room with between 10-30 thousand players at any given time including US players. Absolute Poker is currently offering 30% rakeback to all new sign ups, and there is a special rake races promotion with $24,000 up for grabs!

POSITIVES
If you play low to midstakes NL Holdem then this is a very good poker site. The hands are dealt nice and fast and the players quite loose in their attitude. Because the website has decent player traffic there will always be games available at your preferred limits.
Easy deposit
Top Marks here for Absolute Poker. Looking into the different options for depositing I don't think there is another poker site on the internet making it easier for you to give them your cash! There must be around 20 options including all the usual players:

Bonuses
This is a real positive for Absolute players. Some of the current offers put some of the other poker rooms to shame. To start with there is a 150% deposit bonus up to $500. There is a very generous rake race offering $25,000 to the winner. You can participate by playing in any real money cash game or tournament. They offer a $50 bonus for reaching 10million play money chips for those of us who like something for nothing as well!
They also offer reload bonuses to their players up to 7 times a month.
Other Features
There is in information screen with tabs in the bottom left hand corner. From here you can see some basic statistics from your play like flop percentage, hands per hour, and average pot. You can also see up to 50 of the last hands being played with the view last hand option. Very much like the way Full Tilt have incorporated this feature into their design Absolute poker have done the same. 30% rake back is also available to players who play at Absolute poker so this should also be taken into consideration.

There's e-mail support and a FAQ area. There is no telephone support or live chat but the email team seems quite efficient
NEGATIVES
General Design
Everything you would want in a poker client is here. I just feel it could look a little nicer lol. To be a little more pernickety some of the features standard on other sites seems to have been missed like having a "bet pot" button as well as having to use the slider to bet can become a little irksome.
Tougher Players
A negative side to the great bonuses on offer at Absolute is the type of player it attracts. You tend to find tighter / more solid players at sites offering good bonuses who just grind out their bonus rather than the free loving chip monkeys that we would all rather be playing.
