This site is great if you are looking to play No Limit Holdem or Omaha Hi. The latest software allows simultaneous play at up to 15 tables (previously it was far fewer). The interface feels nice and clean and is easy to follow with all of the standard tracking statistics you'd expect at a click of a tab whilst you play.

This is the thing you notice first about the poker room once you've sat down. The cards are dealt quickly and you are playing more hands per hour then you probably do at whatever card room you are currently playing at.

Bonuses and Rakeback

Betfair are currently offering up to $600 sign up Bonus which is decent, which is earned in the usual play on cash table and collect points way that we've become accustomed to now. There are good money added tournaments as well as Bankroll Boosters for lower limit players. Another big plus for playing on this network is the good rakeback that is being offered. 30% is a healthy chunk back. A recent addition to their offering is a $10 maximum fee for all tournaments which must be attractive to those of us playing at the higher levels. It also averages about $4m in tournament prize pools every month.

This is the most disappointing aspect of this poker room. The only games available are Holdem and Omaha Hi. Now whilst this may well cater for the 90% of the poker community, for those of us who like a bit of change now and again or those players that thinking about branching into one of the newer, up and coming poker games, this is most definitely not the website for you.

Game Traffic

I'm not sure if I caught the site on a bad week but the player numbers seemed a little down on the official statistics. It might be that I'm not comparing apples with apples as Betfair does online cater for 2 types of poker games rather then the 5-6 of most other dedicated poker rooms. A big influence on this is the fact it doesn't cater for US players but this is an issue a few of the other poker rooms also have.
