Players Only Poker Review
Players Only Poker joined the online poker scene in 2006 and has not looked back since. Its big selling point is that it is open to US players and is able to take deposits directly from their credit / bank cards. This is another room sitting on the Cake Network which is growing in influence month by month.
With traffic hovering around the 2000-5000 players mark Players Poker is an average sized poker room with quite a lot to offer. The room is identical to the playersonly poker client in everything barring the fact that players only also offers Casino and Sports betting as part of its offering which are all easily accessible from the players only client. What's nice about the site is once you've sat at a table everything is nice and clean looking. The cards are clearly visible without the 4 colour deck option, all of the notes and info is easily obtainable from the tab menu system and things just work which is always nice. The tables are quick here as well with not too many people beating around the bush when its play time! Often enough some of the tables are playing 85+ pots an hour.

POSITIVES
If you like low to medium stakes NL Holdem then this is a very good poker room. The tables are fast and the players quite loose in their attitude. The traffic ranges from about 3-13k players at one time so you should be able to get a game at a time that suits you.
Tournament Lobby
I think this aspect of the client has been designed really well. When you click on the tournament link at the top it changes the page into a different layout. From here you can split your search into things like Omaha or 7 card stud tournaments at different buy in levels. By clicking on multiple buttons you are able to filter through the tournaments until you find the one you want.

This is a real positive for Players Only Poker. Being a late comer into the online arena it offers a competitive 100% on first time deposits up to $650 as well as a gold chip offer which are earned whilst you play. NEGATIVES
I think there is only one negative to this poker room and that is traffic on certain games (Omaha hi-low in particular) is not what it's like on larger sites. This could be to do with players interested in these games coming to the poker room and seeing these rooms empty and deciding to go to more established poker rooms. This will change in time as the site gains popularity and there is no reason it shouldn't. The combination of speed, good promotions and relatively soft competition makes the Cake Poker Network an excellent place to play poker.
