Poker Kings is another member of the Boss Media Network and has been running since the year 2000. It is operated by Gaming VC Corporation a Maltese Company, listed on the AIM in London. The fact it is being backed by Boss Media gives Poker Kings members a well established gaming network that is both technically and financially secure.

Software

As you expect with Boss Medias software, everything is clean and well designed with the Poker Kings skin applied to their renowned poker client. You have the usual Boss options of changing the colour of the deck, Player notes; find a player, and table statistics. There is variety of language options for our European counterparts and generally everything is where it should be. There is certainly nothing to complain about here.

Game variety

The Boss network caters for the majority of today's most popular poker games. If you are looking for the more obscure games like Amerikana, 32 Card Poker or Telesina will have to look elsewhere but pretty much everyone else will be catered for to some degree which is great. There are normally about 3000 players online which also helps with finding a game at the limits you want. If you just want to kick back and play around there are also plenty of practice tables across most of the games being offered on the site. Tournament traffic is also excellent with over 10,000 players logged in at peak times

Bonuses and Rakeback

Other Features

The poker room features are being developed all the time with things like 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and 1 times pot size bet buttons added to help with correct size betting a nice recently added feature. The on screen statistics give details on the in game standards; Games played, Games won, Number of flops seen and showdowns won. From the same menu you can access the game information screen which gives details on the number hands per hour, average pot size and players/flop.

The support is pretty fast and there is an excellent selection available. There is Phone, e-mail, and live support available for Poker King Players. You shouldn't really need more help than they have available here but if you do have more questions there is also a substantial FAQ section available from their website.

NEGATIVES

The only negative I can find is as Poker King is on the Boss network only players who rake €100 or more are eligible to receive rakeback. There are some comments being aired on the internet about multi currency tables and playing at the dollar tables as they are provide more value but I can't see it myself? Surely a 5% rake is the same in any currency!
