True Poker Review
True Poker dipped its toe into the world of Online Poker in the year 2000. Its main talking point is that it was one of the first 3D experience poker clients. A major plus for this network is the fact that it is able to accept US players.
SCREENSHOTS

POSITIVES
As niche poker sites go this is a very good one. You have a 3D poker client that runs very nicely and feels very novel to play (at least initially!). Apart from the visual stimulation there is also audio to guide the play. What's nice about this room is the fact that it caters to smaller action. The tournaments have fewer players in them and therefore should allow the better players to progress through to the later rounds with more consistency.
Easy deposit
Depositing money again was not an issue with multiple methods for making you deposit.
Bonuses and Rakeback
There is the standard deposit bonus of 100% but off a low-ish $200 and a favorable referral system in place in case you introduce any players to the poker room. There is also a VIP points system with points exchanged for items from the shop or tournament entries. One thing about the bonus system is that it is very easy to get thorough it quickly.
Another plus for playing on this network is the good rakeback that is being offered. 27% is a reasonable amount.
Other Features
All of the features pretty much are found using the menu screen. There is very little on screen clutter which is nice. It is a very different environment to the larger poker rooms that tend to lean towards the speed that hands are being dealt at. The main bulk of the software is for the audio and 3D effects

Support
True poker offer pretty good support for a small, niche poker outfit. There is both e-mail and telephone support with e-mails responded to with 24 hours in general. There is also a telephone number now but it is not toll free.
NEGATIVES
Game Variety
The number of games available is a bit of a let down with only 3 games available. With modern poker clients becoming more and more competitive and feature rich it's a shame there isn't a little more on offer here from such a nice looking website.
Hand History
Your hand history has to be e-mailed to you. This could be problematic after a particularly long session or if you simply forgotten to request your hand history. There is also no information hud when playing on screen so you always have to go through the menu option to get to the information you want.
Interface
Sometimes, you just wonder whether some things have been finished or not! If you are going to build a very nice looking interface for your players to use why use the standard windows pop up for everything else? The download was already a chunky 23MB, we could have lived with it being a few MB bigger if it felt more finished!
To conclude I would say this is a very nice looking website with lots of nice touches. If they decide to push it forward as a serious poker site then certain things will have to change, mainly the speed at which the hands are played and more information on screen to save you sifting through it. However, as Sunday afternoon poker venues go this is quite a nice relaxing site to have a bit of fun with.
