Started in 2004 and on the Boss network, Virgin Poker have established themselves in a relatively crowded market using one of the most trusted brands in the world to attract people to its rooms. Software

As you expect with Boss Medias software, everything is clean and well designed with the Virgin Poker Branding everywhere. The red and black branding of Virgin works well and helps when searching for things in the lobby. A little surprisingly for a brand such as Virgin, but they didn't go for something a little more flashy and prestigious with their Poker client. No Avatars, 3D or any gimmicks at all really. You have the usual Boss options of changing the colour of the deck, Player notes; find a player, and table statistics. There is variety of language options for our European counterparts and generally everything is where it should be. It is a really popular platform with many players using it across the Boss Media licensees and they like it for very good reason.

Game variety

The game variety is good. Many of the most popular poker games are catered for and the spread of limits to play them on is also very good. Player numbers goes hand in hand with game variety as there is no point in having all of the poker variations available at your poker room if there are no players there. Virgin regularly attracts 8000+ in the evenings which should allow most of us to play the games and limits we enjoy.

NEGATIVES

Being on the Boss network, only players who rake €100 or more are eligible to receive rakeback. This is not great for people playing at low limits as this will take a good few ours of play at the 5/10cent levels.

The sign up bonus is slightly on the reserved side, but by signing up through best-rakeback this becomes less of an issue.
